So Many Projects

I keep telling myself I’m going to take on fewer projects. Like none until I finish a couple I’ve got going on. Keep things reasonable so I don’t start to feel overwhelmed. But somehow, the list of ongoing projects seems to keep growing. Slowly creeping up, but always creeping up, never really down. There’s the stripes afgan that I’m working on for my daughter.

And there’s the goth collar that I’m doing only because I’m testing it for someone else. That one stresses me. Which is largely my own fault because I decided to use thread and a larger hook. It’s going really slowly, but I am working on it from time to time.

And, let’s not forget the summer hat I bought a pattern for like a month ago. I’m excited about it. And the raffia has arrived. And yeah, that’s as far as I’ve got.

Oh, and yes there’s a super secret project for another relative. For that one, I’ve decided on the stitches, and ordered this yarn (It’s a real start. Yes it is.)

And… that’s it. So far. (Unless you count that bedspread I started like 5 years ago whose yarn is completely filling one of my underbed storage containers. But I’m not counting that.)

Some day I’ll catch up. Yes, really. I mean it.
