Guess what? I finished the hat. I ended up going with a narrow, soft, cloche-like brim. I think I’ll call it “Evelyn”. And I love how quickly it worked up. The pattern will definitely need some (okay, a lot of) tweaking, but I can definitely put it out next spring.
